FontAgent® can activate fonts automatically as it starts in two different ways:
- By reactivating fonts that were active when FontAgent last stopped running
- By activating font sets that you have designated as Startup Sets
Managing Startup Sets

To activate all the fonts in a set when you start your computer, make the set a startup set.
- Select the set.
- Click the Set command in the FontAgent application menu.
- Select the Startup On command in the Set menu ribbon.

To stop a set from activating automatically at startup, Windows computer, follow these steps:
- Select the set.
- Click the Set command in the FontAgent application menu.
- Select the Startup Off command in the Set menu ribbon.
You can create as many startup sets as you need, but be selective about how many fonts you activate at startup. Activating too many fonts consumes system resources, slows the startup process, and can make Font menus in your Windows applications long and complex to navigate.
Leaving Fonts Active When Exiting
Use the FontAgent Options panel to control how FontAgent activates fonts at startup by following these steps.
- Select Options from the FontAgent menu to display the FontAgent Options panel.
- Click the Activator tab.
- Check the Leave activated fonts active on exit checkbox.
